Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls using standardized protocols and clinical judgment
- Provide accurate medical advice and triage services to patients via phone and telehealth
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient care
- Document all patient interactions and triage decisions in EMR systems
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate critical cases immediately
- Conduct follow-up communications with patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin
- 3+ years of clinical nursing experience with ER/urgent care background
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and triage protocols
