Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical urgency using established triage protocols
- Provide accurate medical advice via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and emergency departments for seamless care coordination
- Document patient encounters meticulously in Epic EHR systems
- Manage high-pressure situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Educate patients on home care instructions and when to seek further treatment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada with at least 2 years of emergency/trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment skills with proven triage expertise
- Exceptional communication abilities for diverse patient interactions
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- BSN degree preferred
