Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment (ECG, pulse oximeters, vital monitors)
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize patient acuity and allocate resources
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide compassionate care to patients during high-stress emergency situations
- Train on new medical equipment and triage technologies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities during high-pressure scenarios
- Ability to operate advanced medical equipment independently
