Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
- Accurately document clinical findings and vital signs in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Provide clear communication to patients and families about treatment timelines
- Manage high-volume patient flow during peak hours
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong triage assessment skills using ESI or similar protocols
- Excellent interpersonal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Epic or similar EMR systems
- BSN degree preferred
