Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls based on medical urgency
- Provide accurate clinical guidance to patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care
- Document all assessments and interventions in EHR systems
- Manage patient flow during peak hours
- Adhere to HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Mentor new nursing staff
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Minimum 2 years triage or ER experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking skills
- Strong written/verbal communication
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
