Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care levels in emergency settings
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and family members
- Monitor vital signs and identify potential complications
- Provide patient education on treatment protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in high-pressure environment
