Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Handle specimens and maintain accurate documentation of surgical events
- Manage surgical equipment inventory and sterilization processes
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams to ensure patient safety
- Participate in continuous improvement of surgical protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Commitment to complete paid training program (40 hrs/week)
