Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and implant placements
- Manage patient flow and ensure seamless clinic operations
- Maintain sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Train and mentor new dental assistants
- Take and interpret digital radiographs and CBCT scans
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for specialized procedures
- Manage inventory and supply ordering for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant license or certification
- Minimum 3 years of chairside experience in specialty dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and infection control expertise
- Strong communication skills for patient education and team coordination
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with dental implants and orthodontic procedures preferred
