Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize emergency cases using ESI protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and ER staff to ensure timely patient flow
- Document clinical findings accurately in EHR systems
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NY RN license with 2+ years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in EHR documentation (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
