Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical emergencies using established protocols
- Provide accurate triage assessments for walk-in and telehealth patients
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Document patient encounters with precision in electronic health records
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and follow-up requirements
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Epic or similar EHR systems
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
