Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases based on clinical urgency
- Perform rapid physical assessments and obtain accurate medical histories
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient flow
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precision and timeliness
- Provide education to patients and families regarding emergency protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
