Responsibilities
- Assess patients' conditions and prioritize care based on medical urgency
- Provide accurate triage and clinical guidance to patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain detailed patient documentation in EHR systems
- Handle high-volume phone consultations and walk-in triage
- Implement emergency protocols and initial interventions
- Monitor patient progress and escalate critical cases
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and triage skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional communication and decision-making abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
