Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize emergency cases using established clinical protocols
- Provide telehealth consultations and over-the-phone medical guidance
- Coordinate with physicians and departments for seamless patient care transitions
- Document assessments accurately in EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Train new staff on triage procedures and emergency protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for patient flow optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona with minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Experience in high-volume triage settings preferred
