Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive telephone triage to assess patient urgency and symptoms
- Provide expert medical guidance and care recommendations to patients
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams for seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality protocols
- Respond to emergent situations with calm professionalism
- Coordinate with community resources for patient continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred
