Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize care in emergency settings
- Take detailed medical histories and vital signs
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for seamless care transitions
- Document assessments and care plans using Epic EMR
- Educate patients on treatment protocols and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license
- Minimum 3 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
