Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive initial patient assessments to determine acuity levels.Use clinical judgment to prioritize patient care and facilitate timely medical interventions.Document patient interactions, symptoms, and triage decisions accurately in the EMR.Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare staff.Provide guidance to patients regarding follow-up care and self-management.Manage high call volumes with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a triage or urgent care setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure and make critical decisions quickly.Proficient in electronic medical record systems (EMR).
