Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions via telephone triage using established protocols
- Provide accurate medical guidance to patients and families
- Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff for urgent cases
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and resources
- Manage high-volume call center operations efficiently
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
Qualifications
- Active Alaska RN license with minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
