Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive telephone and in-person triage assessments using ESI protocols
- Provide clinical guidance to patients and staff regarding emergency care protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for critical decision-making
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on home care instructions and when to seek further treatment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency preparedness drills
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license with 2+ years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
