Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize care in fast-paced emergency environments
- Collect comprehensive medical histories and perform rapid physical assessments
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for efficient patient flow
- Document clinical findings accurately in EMR systems with precision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and emergency department protocols
Qualifications
- Valid NJ RN license with minimum 2 years ER experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (TNCC preferred)
- Proven ability to maintain composure during critical situations
- Strong assessment skills with acute care focus
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
