Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases using standardized triage protocols
- Utilize provided advanced diagnostic equipment (EKG monitors, pulse oximeters, etc.) for rapid patient evaluation
- Collaborate with physicians to develop immediate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with provided EMR systems
- Provide compassionate patient education during high-stress situations
- Lead emergency response teams during critical incidents
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas with minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Expertise in using triage scales (ESI, CTAS) and provided diagnostic equipment
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
