Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases using advanced triage protocols
- Operate digital vital sign monitors, ECG machines, and point-of-care testing equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists via integrated telehealth systems
- Document assessments accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Oversee patient flow and coordinate with ancillary departments
- Maintain equipment calibration and quality assurance per hospital standards
- Provide emergency interventions within scope of practice
Qualifications
- Current California RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Expertise in operating triage-specific medical equipment
- Strong assessment skills for pediatric/adult populations
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments
