Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and in-person triage using advanced diagnostic tools
- Utilize provided EHR systems to document patient interactions accurately
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize patient cases based on severity
- Train on new medical equipment including digital stethoscopes and point-of-care testing devices
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and emergency department protocols
- Provide health education to patients and families using provided educational tools
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives with supplied analytics software
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri with 2+ years triage experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic/Cerner experience a plus)
- Ability to work with provided digital diagnostic equipment
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience in emergency or urgent care settings
- Comfortable with rapid assessment protocols using supplied tools
- Valid Missouri driver's license for occasional facility visits
