Responsibilities
- Assist in complex surgical procedures across orthopedic, neuro, and general surgery specialties
- Maintain sterile field integrity and enforce OR safety protocols
- Coordinate instrument/equipment preparation with surgical team
- Train and mentor junior surgical tech staff
- Inventory management and equipment sterilization oversight
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- 5+ years of scrub experience in Level I trauma center
- BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical systems
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts including on-call
- Associates degree in Surgical Technology preferred
