Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on urgency using established protocols
- Provide clinical guidance and health education to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care pathways
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Manage patient flow and ensure timely communication between care providers
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years triage or emergency nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
