Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via telehealth platforms and phone consultations
- Apply clinical judgment to prioritize patient cases based on urgency
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Document all interactions accurately in EHR systems
- Provide education on home care and preventive measures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Manage after-hours patient triage rotations
Qualifications
- Current Indiana RN license (required)
- Minimum 3 years acute care nursing experience
- Triage certification or equivalent experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS certification maintained
- Ability to work independently in virtual environment
