Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telephone triage to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Provide clinical guidance to patients and families during medical emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for patient care coordination
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Implement hospital protocols for emergency response and patient flow
- Educate patients on self-care and preventive health measures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and crisis management abilities
