Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive telephone triage assessments for a high volume of patients, utilizing evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Evaluate patient symptoms, medical history, and current medications to determine appropriate level of care.
- Make clinical decisions regarding home care, referrals to specialists, or emergency department visits.
- Document all interactions accurately and promptly in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Provide health education and medication reconciliation to patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting (ER, Urgent Care, or Triage preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Strong computer proficiency with experience in EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent communication and active listening skills with a non-judgmental demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound clinical decisions quickly.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
