Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone and in-person triage assessments to evaluate patient symptoms and determine appropriate levels of care.
- Provide expert medical advice and recommend treatment plans to patients and their families.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and timely in the EHR system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient communication.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a triage or emergency department setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
