Job Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments via phone or secure messaging platforms.
- Apply critical thinking to triage symptoms and determine appropriate care settings.
- Provide detailed medical instructions and home care guidance to patients.
- Log patient data and triage outcomes into Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Coordinate referrals with physicians and specialists.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and privacy standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active RN License in Virginia.
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in triage or emergency medicine.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high volumes of calls with patience and professionalism.
- Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
