Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage protocols to determine the urgency of care needs.
- Manage high-volume patient inquiries via phone, secure messaging, and video visits.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare providers to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Accurately document patient history, symptoms, and clinical findings in the EMR system.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, preventative care, and self-management strategies.
- Monitor for changes in patient status and escalate critical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an urgent care or telehealth setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of EKG interpretation and clinical decision-making frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with EMR software (Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth).
