Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
- Coordinate with physicians to determine appropriate patient disposition
- Document clinical encounters in Epic EHR with 100% accuracy
- Provide telehealth triage support for remote patient monitoring
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and TJC standards
- Train junior staff on triage protocols and critical decision-making
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 3 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficient in Epic EHR and telehealth platforms
- BSN or higher preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking under pressure
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
