Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments via phone and in-person to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Accurately document patient information using our electronic health record system
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care plans
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families regarding treatment protocols
- Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards for patient safety
- Participate in continuous training to enhance triage skills and medical knowledge
- Assist in managing patient flow within the emergency department
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain immediately
- Recent nursing graduate or career changer with passion for emergency medicine
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided if needed)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making critical decisions
