Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls and determine medical urgency using standardized protocols
- Provide accurate health advice and triage recommendations via phone, email, and telehealth
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on home care, medication management, and preventive care
- Handle emergency situations following established emergency protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or willing to obtain within 90 days)
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification (provided if not currently certified)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
