Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments via phone or in-person to evaluate symptoms and medical acuity.
- Deliver appropriate medical advice, triage instructions, and referrals to specialists or emergency services when necessary.
- Document all patient interactions and clinical findings accurately and promptly in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate closely with physicians and care coordinators to ensure seamless patient care continuity.
- Maintain a professional, calm, and empathetic demeanor during high-volume and high-stress situations.
- Stay current with clinical guidelines, triage protocols, and best practices.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN License required (or eligibility for licensure in Texas).
- No prior experience required; we actively recruit and train new graduates and career changers.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to remain composed and make quick, sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with electronic documentation systems.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
