Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone or in-person to determine medical urgency.
- Direct patients to the appropriate level of care, including ER, Urgent Care, or primary physician.
- Document patient interactions and medical history accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide health education and resources to patients and families.
- Manage incoming inquiries and prioritize patient needs efficiently.
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain).
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient safety.
- Willingness to undergo our on-the-job training program.
