Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments while ensuring comfort
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using precise instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Maintain sterilization of equipment and treatment rooms
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Document patient information accurately in digital records
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant certification required
- X-ray certification (RDA) preferred
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification must be current
