Responsibilities
- Perform detailed phone assessments to evaluate patient symptoms and determine medical acuity levels.
- Provide expert medical advice, triage instructions, and referrals based on clinical guidelines.
- Accurately document all patient interactions and medical histories in the EMR system.
- Coordinate patient appointments and referrals with appropriate healthcare providers.
- Educate patients on preventative care, medication management, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing leadership to ensure quality assurance and patient safety.
- Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Missouri (or eligible to obtain one).
- Willingness to participate in and complete our Paid Training Program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with EMR/EHR systems.
- Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with empathy.
- 3+ years of nursing experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.
