Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient acuity levels in emergency department triage
- Collaborate with physicians to develop rapid treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear patient education on emergency procedures
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Manage high-volume patient flow during peak hours
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (required)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications (required)
- TNCC or ENPC certification (preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication abilities in high-stress environments
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
