Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and digital triage tools to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with detailed patient assessments
- Provide clear, empathetic communication to patients and families during critical moments
- Adhere to evidence-based clinical protocols and regulatory standards
- Support emergency department flow by prioritizing cases and allocating resources
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proven expertise in emergency medicine or urgent care triage
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to de-escalate situations
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
