Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls using standardized triage protocols to determine urgency and priority
- Provide clinical guidance and education to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person visits
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Handle high-pressure situations with calm professionalism during emergency scenarios
- Implement infection control and safety protocols in all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
