Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine patient acuity levels
- Document medical histories and vital signs accurately in EHR systems
- Provide emergency care instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for efficient patient flow
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license with at least 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EHR platforms
- Strong communication skills in high-pressure situations
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
