Key Responsibilities
- Perform rapid and accurate patient triage to ensure appropriate medical care.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and vital signs with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to prioritize patient flow efficiently.
- Provide clear, empathetic instructions to patients regarding follow-up care and medications.
- Assist in the administration of medications and basic treatments under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing or triage settings.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required (valid within 12 months).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in high-volume environments.
