Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments via phone or secure messaging to determine the urgency of medical conditions.
- Utilize clinical protocols and decision-making skills to triage patients effectively and direct them to the appropriate level of care.
- Document all patient interactions and triage decisions accurately and in a timely manner within the EMR system.
- Educate patients on self-care management, medication adherence, and preventative health measures.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient continuity.
- Handle high-volume call volumes with professionalism, empathy, and de-escalation techniques.
Qualifications:

- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in triage, emergency medicine, or urgent care settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate critical thinking in fast-paced environments.
