Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments and determine acuity levels
- Utilize EHR systems to document patient information accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists on patient care plans
- Provide telehealth triage services for remote patients
- Implement emergency protocols for critical cases
- Train new staff on triage procedures and hospital policies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Michigan RN license (or willing to obtain with support)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience (ER/urgent care preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (training provided)
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic/EMR experience)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
