Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
- Coordinate with physicians to prioritize critical cases
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR with 100% accuracy
- Oversee patient flow in high-volume emergency settings
- Mentor junior staff on triage best practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with social services for patient advocacy
Qualifications
- CA RN license with active BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- ESI triage certification or equivalent training
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and telehealth platforms
- Strong clinical judgment and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
