Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to clients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client’s physical or mental condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
