Responsibilities
- Provide personalized patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Support nurses with clinical tasks and maintain clean patient environments
- Comply with infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Deliver emotional support to patients and their families
- Participate in team meetings and continuing education programs
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or long-term experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
