Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and timely.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, surgery, or other departments using appropriate equipment.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and concerns.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Valid State ID and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
