Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent bedsores.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff promptly.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active Illinois CNA license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
