Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgery
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and digital record management
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials
Qualifications
- Current California RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in dental imaging software (Dexis, Eaglesoft)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
